Important: The Apple Watch app does not show ads and does not collect data.
Ads are shown only in the iOS app, using Google AdMob.
This Privacy Policy explains how Browser Watch (the “App”) handles information when you use the iOS app and the Apple Watch companion app.
Scope
- iOS app: shows ads via Google AdMob. Ad-related data may be processed by Google and its partners.
- Apple Watch app: no ads, and no data collection.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and IDFA (iOS Only)
The iOS app uses Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. We ask for tracking permission when required.
- If you allow tracking, the iOS app may access Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), and Google AdMob may use it for ad delivery and measurement (including personalized ads where permitted).
- If you do not allow tracking, the iOS app does not access or use the IDFA.
You can review or change your tracking permission at any time in iOS settings (availability depends on your iOS version and region).
Information We Collect
Apple Watch app: We do not collect data.
iOS app: We do not knowingly collect personal information directly unless you explicitly provide it (for example, by contacting support). However, our advertising partner(s) may collect information automatically in order to serve and measure ads.
Examples of data that may be processed by AdMob (iOS only):
- Device information (e.g., device model, operating system version, language)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address, depending on settings and region)
- Advertising-related identifiers (e.g., Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), only if you allow tracking via ATT)
- App interaction and ad performance data (e.g., ad impressions, clicks, crash or diagnostics signals related to ad delivery)
Advertising (Google AdMob) — iOS Only
We use Google AdMob in the iOS app to:
- serve ads (personalized or non-personalized, depending on your consent and settings)
- measure ad performance
- limit ad frequency
- detect and prevent fraud and abuse

Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
If you are located in the EEA or the UK, AdMob and its partners may rely on consent (for personalized ads where required) and/or legitimate interests (for non-personalized ads, measurement, and fraud prevention), depending on your choices and applicable law.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers (such as Google AdMob) to operate, provide, and improve the iOS app’s advertising features, and for legal compliance and security purposes where required.
Data Retention
We retain any information you provide to us only as long as necessary for support and operational purposes, unless a longer period is required by law. Ad-related retention is generally controlled by Google under its policies.
Your Choices
- ATT permission (iOS only): you can allow or deny tracking when prompted, and change it later in iOS settings (availability depends on iOS version and region).
- Consent (where applicable): you may be presented with a consent prompt and can change your choices where offered.
- iOS settings: you can manage privacy and ad-related settings on your device (availability depends on iOS version and region).
International Transfers
Information processed by our service providers may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.
